Easter in Mid Ulster
Now that spring has arrived we’ve got a jam-packed programme for everyone to enjoy across Mid Ulster.
Our three special places, The Argory, Springhill and Ardress are running a nature themed trail from Monday 26 March until Sunday 8 April from 11am-4pm. We’ve got great outdoor spaces and we want to educate little ones about what makes them so special!
Learn about the different types of trees and where they come at The Argory. You’ll be going all around the world to find out their locations. At the end of the trail visit our massive trees in the trap shed and add your very own leaf to it.
At Springhill we’re exploring the amazing natural play by going on an adventure! Try some bark rubbing, clay face making, bird watching and pond dipping. You’ll be an expert explorer at the end.
Visit the friendly farmyard animals at Ardress and feed the chickens. Peek high and low for the clues around the orchards and farmyard and spot the early signs of spring.
Remember to pack in the camera to capture all the special memories. Share them with us on our Facebook page – National Trust Mid Ulster.
Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts
As if that wasn’t enough….Cadbury will be joining us again for our annual Easter Egg Hunt from Friday 30 March until Tuesday 3 April from 11am-4pm. Search high and low for our giant sized Eggs at The Argory, be careful of the dragon one! Follow bunny’s footsteps at Springhill and make your very own Easter basket to take on the adventure. At Ardress search high and low for all the clues and learn lots of facts about the farmyard and outdoor spaces.
Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts are an additional £1.50 per child.
