Bikes at Attingham

Two small children walking their push bikes through a very muddy puddles

Whilst Attingham is a great place to visit to let off steam, the narrow pathways and sensitive conservation needs of the parkland mean that we aren't able to welcome cycling on standard bikes around the park, no matter the age of the cyclist.

Cycle Policy

Children aged 5 and under are welcome to bring tricycles and starter bikes (either no peddles or with stabilisers) when they visit. Standard bicycles are unfortunately not permitted in the Park regardless of the cyclists age, to keep the Park a safe environment for budding cyclists to learn in and for all visitors to enjoy.

Children aged 11 years old and under are welcome to explore the grounds on push/kick scooters. Battery powered scooters are not permitted in the grounds.

If you're looking for somewhere for the whole family to cycle together head over to Comer Woods at the Dudmaston Estate (close to Bridgnorth). The Explorer Trail includes a 3.5km long  multi use trail perfect for families to explore whether walking, cycling or running.
