Summer Activities Volunteers at Attingham

Four teenagers are playing volleyball in the play field at Attingham Park. The Summer of Sports logo is also on show

Would you like to help people explore Attingham and make the most out of their day this summer? We’re looking for Summer Activities Volunteers to join our team. Attingham is a hive of activity in the summer months and there’s a whole host of events and activities taking place for our visitors to enjoy. Our Summer Activities Volunteers support these activities, providing a warm welcome for all visitors; particularly focusing on families, and giving them the information they need to ensure they have an enjoyable and memorable visit.

You could be in the field of play encouraging children to make a grass trumpet (Number 13 on the list of 50 Things To Do Before You’re 11 ¾), in front of the Mansion helping them try their hand at badminton for the first time or giving them information and directing them around the site to find the thing that will make their day!

Find out more and join the team

We’ll be holding an information and introduction session at 10am on Saturday 15 July where you can find out more and sign up to join the team.

To volunteer independently in the role you must be over the age of 18 years. We’re happy to welcome volunteers under the age of 18 years volunteering alongside a parent/guardian.

There’s no need to have volunteered with us previously, but we do need you to complete the application form, on our Volunteering Opportunities page here (click on the Summer Activities Volunteer role for Attingham Park).  we’ll then send you details about the introduction and information session. If you have got any questions please get in touch with us via join-in-attingham@nationaltrust.org.uk
