Come and work at Baddesley

Baddesley Clinton House

A moated manor house set in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside is a wonderful place to work. Home to the same family for 12 generations, Baddesley Clinton has over 500 years’ worth of stories to tell.

Here at Baddesley we have a team of over 30 staff supported by more than 300 wonderful volunteers. Every year we welcome thousands of visitors, many of whom come back regularly to see us. We also host a full programme of events, from pond-dipping for the children to open air cinema for the grown-ups.

Rosie and Jack have recently joined the conservation team. Rosie says: “I love working for the National Trust because it presents me with new learning opportunities every day. I get to work in an extraordinary place with a truly lovely team of people and embrace my love of history to its full extent. I also get the chance to work creatively and ambitiously within my role and help keep history alive for generations yet to come. The Trust nurtures me like no other place ever has and I count myself extremely lucky to get to work there every day.”

And Jack comments: “Working as a Conservation Assistant for the National Trust at Baddesley Clinton is both a challenging and extremely rewarding role. On a day to day basis we work to clean and open the house, utilising preventative conservation methods to protect the house and its collection. However, it is not cliché to say that no two days as a Conservation Assistant are the same! From working on projects, engaging with visitors through programming and aiding the running of the house generally, every day is a new opportunity to learn, aided by my colleagues and our indispensable volunteers.”
