Volunteer with us

Barrington Court Gardeners and Volunteers

Although we don't currently have any vacancies, this article will give you an idea of the of volunteer roles here. You'll see that there's lots of variety and chance to try new things, so please do look again in a month or so to see what may be available.

Whether you have a few hours or a whole day to offer, we have a wide range of roles that give you the opportunity to use your existing talents or develop new skills. Volunteers make the difference from the very first point of contact at our visitor reception, to working in the garden and grounds, or providing a first class welcome in the house.

There are lots of benefits when you volunteer, like meeting interesting people, and the chance to attend social events such as our summer barbecue and Christmas celebrations. We also run a programme of talks and workshops just for our volunteers, most of all it’s fun and a rewarding, engaging and stimulating environment to be in.

Be a part of what happens behind the scenes. Support our cause and make the difference for our visitors with us. These are some of the volunteer roles that we have:

House welcome -  providing a friendly and informative experience for our visitors.
Raffle ticket seller - raising essential funds to support our conservation projects.
Stroller - a roving role through the gardens, grounds and house.
House tour guides - bring the story of Barrington Court alive by guiding groups of vistors through the house.

We don't have any vacancies at the moment, but please watch this space for more information when we do.
