Volunteer with us

Barrington Court Gardeners and Volunteers

Although we don't currently have any vacancies, this article will give you an idea of the of roles our volunteers enjoy here. There's plenty of variety, so please do look again soon to see what becomes available.

Whether you have a whole day or just a few hours to give us, we've a wide range of roles that offer you the opportunity to get involved and make use of your existing talents while developing new skills. Our volunteers make a real difference - from providing a friendly first point of contact in visitor reception, to keeping the gardens and grounds looking their best, or providing a first-class welcome in the house.

There are many benefits when you choose to volunteer at Barrington, like meeting interesting people and having the chance to attend social events, like our summer barbecue and Christmas celebrations. We also run a special programme of talks and workshops - just for our volunteers. But most of all, it’s lots of fun and a rewarding, engaging and stimulating environment to be in.

Be part of what happens behind the scenes. Support our cause and make the difference for our visitors. Our volunteer roles include:

House welcomers - Providing a friendly and informative experience for our visitors
Raffle ticket sellers - Raising essential funds to support our conservation projects
Strollers - Roving role through the house, gardens, grounds to engage with our visitors
House tour guides - Bringing the story of Barrington Court to life by guiding groups of vistors through the house

We don't have any vacancies at the moment, but please do watch this space for more information.
