'Country House' colouring party at Bateman's
Join us in one of our drop-in sessions and you can meet artist/author, Amy Jane Adams. Amy will be here to chat to visitors about her new book, 'The Country House colouring book', produced for the National Trust. You will also be able to help Amy do some colouring and buy a signed copy of her book. No need to book but places are limited so you will need to be here early.
Saturday 14th May 2:30pm - 4:30pm
For those adults and children who love colouring books, there's the chance to enjoy an hour with Amy Jane Adams, artist & historian, creator of the Country House colouring book, launched this April. The artwork in the book explores the design and former inhabitants of National Trust properties; the fascinating collection is an imaginative and fun way to explore Britain's country houses and bring the history of these properties to colourful life.
Amy will be Bateman’s on Saturday 14th May with some giant posters that need colouring in. She will be with us from 2.30pm - 4.30pm and all the materials are provided. We have 20 places available for each session and these will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
If you catch the colouring bug and want to colour in your own country houses, signed copies of Amy's book will be on sale in our gift shop.
