Winter lecture lunches at Bateman's

A view through the gate, on a frosty morning at Bateman's, Burwash, East Sussex, the former home of Rudyard Kipling.

During the winter there are fewer visitors to Bateman's. The house is undergoing its winter clean and our volunteers are guiding groups around. This is the perfect time to get a more in depth knowledge of the place and its famous owner and we're offering some great lecture lunches to give you this insight.

Winter lecture lunches

This winter we are offering a series of lecture lunches at Bateman's. The half-day events will include a guided tour of the house, lecture and a delicious 2-course lunch with a coffee or tea, served in our Mulberry tea room. Our team are able to cater for dietary requirements and will contact ticket holders in advance to ascertain their choices for lunch.  Please click the link below to download the lunch menu.
