Will the house be open?
Belton House will be open from 12.30-5pm over Easter weekend. Entry into the house is by timed entry only. To avoid disappointment, we encourage you to book your timed ticket in advance on our What's On page before you visit or by calling 0344 249 1895.
There won’t be any specific family activities within the house itself over Easter weekend, but Below Stairs tours will run between 11am-3pm. Tickets for the Below Stairs tours can be collected from the information point next to visitor reception. The tour is free of charge to National Trust members. For non-members, there's an upgrade fee on top of grounds admission, if a whole property ticket was not obtained on entrance.
Can we stay in the Ride indoor play area?
Due to the popularity of the space timed tickets will be in operation to stay in the Ride Play Café. This helps us monitor the numbers of visitors here. Your ticket will allow your family group in for an hour and can be booked on the day. To avoid disappointment, we advise booking your hour upon arrival to Belton by picking up a ticket from the door of the Ride.
Where can I get a hot drink/snack/ice cream?
Hot drinks, snacks and ice creams can be bought from the Ride Play Café, Stables Café or Muddy Hands in the outdoor adventure playground. Ice creams can also be bought from the Ice Cream Kiosk (located in the estate yard).

Can I take my pushchair on the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt?
The shorter trail route will be accessible for pushchairs and still challenge all ages for the participating ‘big kids’.
What is the trail prize this year?
Cadburys have supplied chocolate eggs this year. A chocolate Easter egg, per trail bought, can be collected upon completion of the trail.
Where can we have our picnic?
