Do I need to pre-book a ticket?
YES. All visits to see Father Christmas at Belton are by pre-booked ticket only. Tickets are bookable online or by calling the National Trust central box office on 03442 491 895.
How much will it cost to see Father Christmas at Belton?
Tickets cost £5 per adult and £10 per child. Each ticket includes an entertaining 30 minute show and children will receive a gift, hand delivered by Father Christmas himself.
Normal admission charges will only apply (to non National Trust members) if visiting the main site. Please see the prices page on Belton’s website for details.
Where will we meet Father Christmas?
The event is held in the Old School, in Belton village (NG32 2LW). Parking is provided at behind the building and not on Belton's main visitor site.
What other activities are there for us to do before/after we see Father Christmas at Belton?
There’s lots to entertain the whole family at Belton this festive season. The Discovery Centre will be open at similar times to the grotto where you can enjoy a range of seasonal crafts and activities. There’ll also be indoor and outdoor family trails to enjoy and of course, the indoor Ride Play Café and Outdoor Adventure Playground for high energy fun.

How many adults can go in with the children to see Father Christmas?
There’s no limit to how many adults can accompany children – space permitting! But at least one adult must accompany each child at all times. Please note charges apply for both adults and children.
Can we take photographs?
You’re very welcome to take photographs of the children in your care.
Will we be queueing for long to see Father Christmas?
There shouldn’t be any long queues because all visitors now book allocated timed tickets in advance.
Do I need to pay in advance?
Yes. Tickets are emailed to you through the bookings administrator. You will need to print out your e-ticket and bring it with you on the day of your visit.

When will we get to see Father Christmas?
Your ticket gives you an allocated time slot. Please arrive 5 minutes beforehand so you don't miss the start of the show.
I don’t have a printer, how do I prove I’ve bought tickets?
You’ll be contacted by Belton Elf Mail to confirm your booking. Once on site, proof of tickets can be shown on a smartphone or electronic device, if you can’t print your tickets.
