An audience with Andy Sturgeon at Beningbrough

Andy Sturgeon outside in the gardens at Beningbrough Hall

To celebrate the completion of the new Pergola at Beningbrough, award winning garden designer, Andy Sturgeon will be joining us at the official opening on Monday 18 June.

The Pergola is the first new garden to be created at Beningbrough and forms part of a long term vision by Andy Sturgeon that will see the seven acres revived over the coming years. Now planting has been completed, this beautiful spot in the sun is taking shape as all the flowers come to life.

Growing beneath the Pergola's air-dried oak beams is Taxus for topiary cubes and soft planting including Aquilegia, Digitalis, Thalictrum and most notably Wisteria ‘Alba’. In its infancy now, the white wisteria holds all the promise for this tranquil area of the gardens.
