The gate way beyond visitor reception

Upon leaving visitor reception walk down the main drive until you see a gate on your left providing your entrance to the parkland. The route is marked as the red trail on the marker posts.

Head straight down from the first gate towards the lake.

When you reach the lake take a moment to take in our 'Tech-free zone'. Just enjoy the simple pleasure of taking in the fresh air and enjoying the view of Berrington from the lake. When you're ready, turn right and walk around the lake with the lake to your left and Berrington on your right.

Once you've reached the far top corner of the lake, there is a small gate that will be on your left. Head through this footpath gate and follow the walkway. The lake should be on your left hand side and Berrington should be behind you. Follow this pathway all the way around the lake and take in the view of Berrington from all of these different angles.
