In England and Northern Ireland, our gardens, parks and countryside remain open for local people to exercise. Shops, houses and other indoor areas are closed, and cafés are takeaway only. The safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors from the nearby community remains our priority and we urge you to book your visits in advance and stay local. Working in Partnership

Restoring the Roundhouse

In Birmingham we are working in partnership with the Canal and River Trust to restore the Roundhouse - a unique, curvy building which was first built as the city's stables and stores. Thanks to £2.5m funding from a National Lottery grant, work is due to be completed in autumn 2018.

Working towards a sustainable future at Moseley Road Baths

We are part of a coalition which, together with Birmingham City Council is seeking to secure the future of the important heritage building which is Moseley Road Baths. The coalition includes Friends of Moseley Road Baths, Moseley Road Baths Action Group, Historic England and the World Monuments Fund. Birmingham families have been swimming here for 110 years and it is now one of the UK's most significant swimming pools.

Prejudice and Pride is the National Trust's event to mark 50 years since the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality. In Birmingham, staff and volunteers took to the streets for the annual Pride celebrations.
