What's in store for you this summer
Who will you be today? A beautiful lady, a dashing duelling baron or a cook of a grand house?
Explore through the eyes of people who lived here in days gone by. Follow the trail through the house finding objects that tell out their amazing stories and have fun dressing up at the end where you’ll be able to recreate photographs and portraits in our very own photo booth. Don't forget to share your photos with us.
" I liked dressing up as a princess and having my photo taken. The dresses were really pretty."

We've got a new trail starting in the parkland this summer, aimed specifically for ages 11 - 14 years old. Follow the mausoleum walk into the parkland to find clues for species of wildlife who call Blickling Estate their home.
If the sun is shining (and the grown-ups fancy a sunbathe in a deckchair), then head outside for garden games overlooking the lake. Have a go at croquet, a game of football or a family contest with jenga.
The gardens are an ideal natural playground, with 55-acres of perfect hide and seek spots. Follow the winding paths to discover the animals of Blickling wood in the secret tunnels, have a go at our garden trail or see if you can find the secret garden. There are plenty of secret spaces and places, just waiting to be found...
Why not bring your 50 things book or pick up one from visitor reception, then come along on Fridays for our '50 things' Fridays. Activities are totally self-led, but have a look through the book and see what you fancy ticking off. Speak to any of the visitor welcome team for the best spots to head to or pick up a family map to guide you.
Enjoy your picnic in the garden or head to one of the three cafes and check out our kid friendly menu. With special lunch packs, hot meals and toasties as well as tasty treats, there's plenty to tempt your hungry explorers.

Let the children browse through the second-hand bookshop and pick out some gems for a bit of holiday reading.
