Garden trails

We'll be holding an Easter garden trail throughout the school holidays. Pick up a map from Visitor Reception, see if you can find the animals that live in Blickling wood, then enjoy a free bunny shortbread reward at the end.

Who will you be today? | Daily 12-5pm

Follow the trail through the house finding objects that tell out the amazing stories of people who lived here in days gone by. Then have fun dressing up at the end where you’ll be able to recreate photographs and portraits in our very own photo booth. Will you be a beautiful lady, a dashing duelling baron or a cook of a grand house? (School holidays only).

Sow and Grow

During school holidays join us with your little green monsters in the walled garden on Tuesdays from 10.30-12.30. We'll help you to plant seeds in pots, then you'll be able to take them home and watch them grow!

Enjoy spring colour walks

With the garden full of 100,000 swaying daffodils and buds bursting into life throughout the garden, there's plenty to spot in March and April. Listen out for the sounds of cuckoos, frogs and Sedge Warblers filling the countryside air.

Explore a little further...

Why not try out our new all-weather, multi-use trail over the holidays. The route offers a 4-mile (6.5km) safe off-road path through Blickling’s beautiful historic park and farm land. It's tailored for families to explore, but it's also perfect for cyclists, walkers, runners and adapted wheelchair users to enjoy. As it starts and finishes at the Muddy Boots cafe, there's lots of opportunity to reward yourself with a well earned treat.
