BBC Countryfile Magazine Awards - #VoteForBodnant!

BBC Magazine Countryfile Awards 2018

We know we have some wonderful friends out there, so here’s your chance to tell the world about our glorious Welsh garden in the prestigious BBC Countryfile Magazine Awards 2018.

You have until March 5 to cast your votes, either online at the BBC Countryfile Magazine website or by returning the form printed in the February issue of the magazine.

We’re in the fine company of four other UK garden finalists - Coleton Fishacre National Trust in Devon, Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall, Rousham Gardens in Oxfordshire and Mount Stewart National Trust in County Down – and proud to be flying the flag for Wales in the competition.

The competition includes ten categories in all, inviting people to pick their favourites from landmarks to national parks to country pubs. Among the other Wales finalists are Snowdonia (National Park of the Year) Pembrokeshire Coast (Holiday Destination of the Year) Newborough (Beach of the Year) and Castell Dinas Bran (Landmark of the Year).

William Greenwood, Bodnant Garden Property Manager, says: “Bodnant Garden really is a gem in the beautiful North Wales landscape, and on course to welcome a record-breaking quarter of a million visitors this year. We’re asking everyone to vote, to spread the word, and to help give Bodnant Garden the recognition it deserves as one of the nation’s truly special places.”
