Pen y Fan’s proposed new car park

Are you one of the thousands that visit Pen y Fan every year? You may have noticed that South Wales’ highest peak is getting busier year on year.

We look after this special place and we’d like to make sure that everyone who visits starts their journey in a safe and fit for purpose car park. For this reason we have submitted a planning application for the improvement to and extension of parking at Pont ar Daf, the most popular access point to climb Pen y Fan.

You may have heard us talking about this before as we’ve asked what you think in the past.

We’d like to share the latest version of our planned improvements and we’re going out to consultation from the 16 December 2016 until the 28 January 2017.

Look out for consultation events:

Thursday 12 January 2017 (10am - 2pm)
