An audience with Olde Father Christmas awaits
A very important person is due to visit Buckland Abbey this Christmas. Don’t miss your opportunity to visit Olde Father Christmas and to hear his tales of Christmas past in the Great Hall.
This Christmas, take a seat and join Olde Father Christmas as shares the tale of Christmas past and brings to life some Tudor Christmas traditions within the stunning setting of the Abbey’s Great Hall. At the end of the tale, Olde Father Christmas will give each child a special keepsake to pop onto their Christmas tree for many years to come.
The story telling session is not just for little ones, as Olde Father Christmas invites children and grown-ups to this unique experience at Buckland.
When does Olde Father Christmas arrive?
Olde Father Christmas is stopping by Buckland Abbey every day from 18 – 22 December, with storytelling sessions running at 4.15pm, 5.15pm, 6.15pm and 7.15pm, lasting for approximately thirty minutes.
Booking online is essential. Tickets are £8.95 per child (includes gift) and £6.95 per adult. This also includes a hot drink and a mince pie in the restaurant.
Make it a day to remember
From 18-22 December, the barn, estate, garden and shop are open daily from 10.30am-8pm. The restaurant is open from 10.30am-4pm for traditional festive fare and then from 4-8pm for hot drinks and minced pies.
