Help decorate our giant tree in the Great Hall, discover the origins of our best-loved festive habits and see what life was like without Christmas in Puritan England. If you visit on one of the weekends you may even meet Father Christmas as he checks that everything is in order in time for the big day..
Though the flower beds aren't in bloom, there are plenty of reasons to get out into the garden. Enjoy the sharp clear lines of the formal garden and baroque vistas through the leafless trees whilst getting some fresh air on a crisp winter’s day.
