Saint Patrick's Day
Celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day at Castle Ward on Monday 17 March.
Enjoy walking and biking on our range of trails, or visit the Castle Ward mansion, before relaxing to the sound of traditional music in the afternoon (from 1pm to 3.30pm).
Our tea-room, second-hand book shop and gift shop are open. Children can explore our adventure and woodland playgrounds, or drive toy tractors and turn their hand to art in the Barn.
Bring your four legged friend to Castle Ward on Sunday 23 March and take part in the waggy races!
This is Northern Ireland’s first 'canicross' event - a cross-country fun run where dogs and their owners will sprint, jog or walk together.
With pets attached to their humans, with either traditional leads or using waist belts and bungee lines, the waggy races are open to dogs of all shapes and sizes, with different categories to suit slow and faster paces.
