Family fun at Cherryburn this autumn

A young family looking at the art installation

Hello autumn, wellie walks, jumpers, hot chocolate, and indoor fun. Keep the whole family entertained this season at Cherryburn.

Arty fun

Little craft-lovers and budding artists will have a whale of a time making their very own print to take home as part of Juneau Projects' exhibition Birds Want You To Listen To Their Songs, which runs until 29 October.

Outdoor adventures

Pop on your wellies and wrap a scarf around your neck and say hello to Cherryburn's donkeys, Paddy and Bethany, on the Paddock Walk ( a short circular walk). Have a go at completing some of our favourite autumn 50 things activities too, such as catching a falling leaf, eating an apple straight from the tree, or climbing a tree.

Spooktacular Hallowe'en fun

From Monday 23 - Friday 27 October, have a go at the Boggle busting trail. Boggles (or bogles) are Northumbrian ghastly spirits. Follow the trail and become a certified boggle buster! Plus, on Saturday 28 October join us for Hallowe'en happenings and make some special decorations for your Hallowe'en costume (£1).
