Spring Bank Holiday – getting the gardens ready for summer

Get your green fingers working and join us in the garden. Plant some seeds with us and help us get the gardens ready for summer.

One of the first materials Thomas Bewick used to draw with was charcoal. Step back in time, put the crayons and colouring pencils to one side and draw your very own masterpiece using charcoal.

For the first time at Cherryburn we’re burning our own charcoal. Meet the rangers who will show you where charcoal comes from and how it’s made.
Inky Print Club
Thursday 1 June, 11am – 3pm
Northern Print are back with their special printing presses and rollers. Get inspired by Thomas Bewick and make your own printed creation.
