The box garden at Claydon

Take a stroll through the garden for a lovely addition to your day when you visit the House. Looked after by the Verney family here at Claydon, it was originally designed by John Sanderson, a pupil of 'Capability' Brown in the eighteenth century. Many members of the family have made it their own over the centuries.

Explore Claydon’s gardens and travel back in time. Discover beautiful herbaceous borders, attractive pools, an extensive walled garden and an unusual historic glass house.

Separate charge applies for garden entry, including National Trust members.
