Whether you're looking to pick up refreshments on a walk around the lake or stopping for something a little more substantial, there are many café options at Clumber Park. Once refreshed, browse the Laundry Yard shop for that perfect gift, or find a new favourite read in the second-hand bookshop.

Eating at Clumber Park

The Turning Yard café

Open every day from 09.00 - 17.00 (17.30 at weekends), the Turning Yard Café is the perfect spot to take a break and enjoy some refreshments. The café serves a range of hot and cold drinks, light lunches, sandwiches, cakes, bakes and savoury snacks. There’s plenty of covered seating outdoors, and limited seating indoors.

Scone of the month

Our current scone of the month is a delicious hot cross scone which will be served in the Turning Yard café.


Lake Brew

Situated in Hardwick village on the lakeside walk, Lake Brew is the perfect place to pick up a takeaway drink or light bite to enjoy on your travels. Open every day from 10.00 - 16.00 (16.30 at weekends).

Central Bark

Your four-legged friends are welcome in Clumber Park’s dog-friendly café. Open every day from 09.00 - 16.00 and located between the walled kitchen garden and cricket ground, Central Bark has indoor and outdoor seating available.

Other food & beverage outlets, including the Clock Tower Ice Cream Parlour, will be open at peak times depending on the weather.

The Laundry Yard shop is situated in a beautifully converted cottage dating back to 1908. Here you'll find a wide range of locally sourced food, gifts and homeware. Whether you’re looking for a treat for yourself or a gift for someone else, you’re sure to find something that ticks the box.

The Stables second-hand bookshop

Take a look inside the second-hand bookshop and get lost in a world of your own. With fiction, hobbies, classics and children's books, there’s something for everyone.

Our book shop relies on the generosity of our visitors to keep the shelves stocked and donations of good quality second-hand books are always gratefully received. Please email to arrange a drop-off.
