Whether it's making new friends, learning new skills, or helping look after a fantastic place, there are many reasons to volunteer.

What can I do?

Volunteers help look after Coleridge Cottage in a number of ways: bringing the story of Coleridge to life by talking to visitors, serving tea and delicious cake in our busy tearoom, and selling books and gifts in our shop.

For the first time this year, the Cottage is open seven days a week rather than five during the main season. More than ever we are looking for passionate, friendly people to join us in bringing this special place to life.

How do I find out more?

We're always looking for new volunteers so you can browse our current roles and apply online, get in touch with us on 01278 732662, or send us an email

Tearoom Volunteer at Coleridge Cottage

It wouldn't be a National Trust visit without some mouth-watering treats served by a friendly volunteer. Our little tearoom may be small, but if you enjoy being kept busy, this is definitely the role for you!
