Coleton Fishacre Trust10
Coleton Fishacre Trust10 is a free monthly 10km trail run that gives you the opportunity to explore Coleton Fishacre and the surrounding South West Coast Path on the fourth Sunday of every month. The challenging trail run gives fantastic coastal views all the way across Lyme Bay to Portland as well as access to the exotic garden at Coleton Fishacre.

Start:
Coleton Fishacre
1
The run begins in the courtyard in front of the house. Run up the driveway up to the top of the hill (take care on the cattle grid: there is a path to the side of it which you can follow). At the top of the driveway, turn right to follow the road to Coleton Camp car park. Please be mindful of traffic on the driveway and the road to Coleton Camp: on your first circuit of the run there shouldn't be much traffic, but by the time you are doing the second circuit there may be one or two cars passing).
2
Follow the track east out of the car park heading downhill towards the sea and reaching the South West Coast Path (SWCP) at Scabbacombe Head.
3
Turn right onto the Coast Path to follow it south-west. This is where the going gets tough, with a couple of steep up ascents and descents. Stick to the Coast Path until you reach Pudcombe Cove.
4
Turn right to take the coastal entrance to Coleton Fishacre garden. Follow the path to the right (keep your eye out for little pink flags to lead the way), heading up the steps and then out to Scout Point on the edge of the garden.
5
Turn left at Scout Point to follow the path through the woodland all the way back to the driveway, near where your run began. If you're up for a second circuit to complete the 10K route, head back up the driveway and follow the same route. The finish point for the 10K run is back in the courtyard in front of Coleton Fishacre house. If you'd rather stop after 5K, you just need to run to the member of staff with a clipboard, where you can sign out.
