Travelling to Corfe Castle

Corfe Castle seen from the Swanage Railway platform

Our car park at Castle View can get very busy, so if you have trouble finding a space, here are some alternatives.

Norden park and ride is signposted from the A351 just north of Corfe Castle and normally has ample parking.

If you park there you can combine your trip to Corfe Castle with a steam train ride on the Swanage Railway, which stops conveniently in the village a two minute walk from the castle.

There is also a car park in West Street in the village. Both the above are pay and display and are operated by Purbeck District Council.

Alternatively, take in the beauty of Purbeck with a bus ride on the number 40 bus from Poole to Swanage again stopping in the heart of Corfe Castle village.
