Corfe Castle at Christmas is a feast for the senses and in 2018 we’ll be open until 7pm on selected dates (weather permitting) so you can enjoy it at your leisure.
Spectacular modern lighting effects transform the ancient Norman keep while contemporary lanterns, braziers and beacons light the way into the heart of the castle.
- Traditional revels with the Lord of Misrule at 5pm and 6pm on each evening of Winter Lights,
- A log fire and festive treats in the tea-room including special hot chocolate, hot fruit punch and mulled wine, mince pies, gingerbread men and a Christingle cream tea of the month,
- Christmas gifts and cards in the shop.
Winter Lights is free but normal admission prices apply — free for National Trust members.
Please bring a torch if you are visiting after dark — particularly for the walk from Castle View car park.
