Hire a boat and leave the land behind

Visitors in a rowing boat and canoe on Upper Lough Erne

You haven’t truly experienced Crom until you have taken a boat trip on Lough Erne. There is no feeling quite like sailing down the Lough, stopping off at an island or two, and seeing the estate from the exceptional vantage point of the water.

We have a selection of boats in our gradually expanding fleet, so you can take your pick of whichever will best suit your needs.

Our fleet includes

Rowing boat - one available for hire - £7.50 per hour. This is the more strenuous option, if you feel up to the challenge of the oars this is perfect for you. Recommended on a calm day.
Outboard engine boats - two available for hire - £30 per half day (3 hours) / £45 per day (6 hours) / £7.50 per hour (rowing only).
This is a more relaxing option, let the engine do the work for you. Travel further in the outboard engine boats, make a day of it and travel to local town, Belturbet, where you can stop off for lunch before travelling back to Crom.
Boat with cab –one available for hire - ‘Lady Erne’ – £50 per half day (3 hours) / £75 per day (6 hours) - 'Lady Erne' is the latest addition to the fleet at Crom, launched in 2013.
The cab provides some shelter from those unexpected rain showers, and Lady Erne is a very comfortable way to explore the estate from the water and make those longer trips to Belturbet or further afield. Lady Erne - £100 deposit and photographic ID required, strictly over 21 years only.
