Open Day at the Gild Hall

The National Trust stall at the Formby Festival was followed up with an Open Day at the Gild Hall. The event was open all day between 9.30am to 6pm. There were stalls and a chance to talk to National Trust staff about plans for the future and share ideas and suggestions. Formby Festival

The National Trust had a stall at the popular Formby Festival on the 15th and 16th July. POur pine cone weaving activities gave us a chance to talk to adults while the children were busy and to find out what local people loved and valued about our site.

Stakeholder meetings begin

We held a first key stakeholder meeting. This group represents organisations and groups who have a real interest in the coast, but not necessarily a direct involvement through, for example, statutory processes. We listen to their views and share ideas with them. The group is by invite, but we welcome suggestions on who should be included. We aim to have a meeting every two months.
