Ditchling Beacon is a fabulous countryside spot north of Brighton and just south of the village of Ditchling. It is the highest point in East Sussex which means there are brilliant views from the top.  On a clear day you can even see the sea!  With an easily accessible car park it’s a great place to start your ‘50 things to do before you’re 11¾’ journey
