Erddig beginner photography group

Back by popular demand, our volunteer photographers will be helping you to get the most out of your digital hobby in 2022.

  • Booking essential
  • Free event (admission applies)

If you are new to photography or just want a refresher then this may be the walk for you.

Come join our expert photography volunteers as they guide you through our Grade I listed garden, showing you how to improve your skills on the first Sunday of every month, 11am to 12noon, from February through November 2022.

By the end of the walk you may feel more confident with your camera and we hope you will have captured some images of Erddig that will inspire you to take your hobby further.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

  Gift Aid Standard
Amount paid by visitor £11.00 £10.00
Tax refund from Government* £2.75 £0.00
Total received by the National Trust £13.75 £10.00

Please note...

The garden and shop open daily. Due to current Welsh Government regulations, our Tea Parlour is open serving a selection of take-away food and drinks but our Restaurant is closed. Servants' rooms in the house are open daily  from 12pm - 2.30pm through 5 January 2022.
