Ever wondered what the difference between a stargazer and an astronomer is or wondered how big the universe actually is? Then this is an evening of talks and telescopes designed for you. (This event is suitable for over 16s).

Settle in with a glass of wine as the Shropshire Astronomical Society (SAS) introduce you the the fascinating world of the night sky with short talks suitable for the novice or practising astronomer. We'll finish the evening with time in front of a telescope along with experienced star-watchers from the SAS pointing out the highlights of the night sky (If the weather is inclement the stars will come to us through the power of computer technology.)

What to bring and wear
Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear to be outside on grass and bring a torch as Attingham is very dark at night.
