Enjoy a short talk and slow guided walk around Canons Ashby's grounds on a search for our favourite flying mammals. See what different species you can find and learn more about their habits and habitats with our guests from the Oxfordshire Bat Group. Pre-booking essential - limited spaces available.

Park in the main car park, and follow the directions
What to bring and wear
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy outdoor shoes. Bringing a torch may make it easier to make your way back to the car at the end.
Accessibility
This event is a walk over uneven countryside surfaces, and will involve some steps. There will be a short talk to start, in a space accessed via stone steps.
Other
This event will take place during dusk, whilst the bats begin to fly. The ground will be uneven and the light will be dim so please take care.
