Jubilee highlights at Treasurer's House

The Queen has visited Treasurer's House three times over her reign to date. When you join a tour around the house from 23 May - 12 June, see a menu and a selection of archive images from her visits.

Alongside the regular tour, your guide will take time to share stories from the most VIP of guests, both to the house and to the city of York.

Booking on a tour is recommended to guarantee your time slot as spaces are limited. Book up to the day before, tickets are released around 10 days before. Alternatively drop into Treasurer's House to see when they can next fit you in, there are spaces available every day on a first come first served basis. Tours run every fifteen minutes and last for around an hour, Saturday - Tuesday, 11am - 4pm.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Booking online is recommended to guarantee your place, otherwise drop in on the day to check availability. Last tour 3pm.

Booking not needed for a free flow festive visit 19 November - 18 December 2022, last entry 3.15pm.
