In this workshop you will be identifying species through macrophotography, collecting samples and learning how to cultivate moss. You will create a miniature terrarium (sealed self-sufficient ecosystem) to take away. Materials provided. Participants need to bring a smartphone or camera to take photos. If you are interested in learning more about nature recording and want to record and upload your results digitally during the workshop, please download iNaturalist (https://www.inaturalist.org/), which we will be using during the workshop.
Suitable for visitors over the age of 16.
If you are a not a National Trust member, an admission charge applies for entry to the buildings and the gardens on the estate if you wish to explore before or after the event.
