Join the Ranger team and learn how to build a bird box

Help encourage our feathered friends by joining the Ranger team on 30 May to build a bird box.
Materials will be provided and at the end of the session you can take your bird box home with you. The sessions times are:
10.30 - 11.30am
11.30am - 12.30pm
1 - 2pm
2 - 3pm
3 - 4pm
Five slots are available per session and tickets will be sold on the day at Visitor Reception on a first come, first served basis. You cannot book in advance. All materials are provided.

What is Gift Aid?
Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.
Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission
- Standard Admission
If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.
An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

- Normal admission prices to the property apply. Please go to Visitor Reception to book a slot and find out where to meet the Ranger team.
- What to bring and wear
- Wear comfortable, outdoor clothes. You will be working outside so please dress for the weather.
- The sessions will be held outside in an area wheelchair accessible are but the paths are not hard-surfaced and can be bumpy. Please speak to the reception team when you arrive and they will show you the best route.
