Enjoy a short bat talk with our guest ecologists before heading out on a guided dusk walk around the grounds on a search for our favourite flying mammals. Use a bat detector to see what species you can find and find out about their habits and habitats.

Dress for the weather and wear some sensible walking shoes! If possible please bring a torch or head torch.

Other
This event is aimed at adults and children. The initial talk will begin at 7.30pm, followed by a walk of approximately 1 hour ending around 9.30pm. Gates open from 7pm. Parking will be in the forecourt outside the main house. There will be a significant amount of walking. Walking will be around the grounds of Upton which includes steps and hills. Attendee's should have moderate levels of fitness. The walk is not suitable for pushchairs. Children are very welcome but please be aware that the event ends at 10pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
