A day for 2-5 year olds and their families to celebrate National Playday at Tyntesfield, this year inspired by the tales of Beatrix Potter.

In celebration of National Playday, TYNTEfest is a day for 2-5 year olds and their families.

There'll be storytelling, face painting, crafts and games inspired by the tales of Beatrix Potter.

Booking is essential, morning and afternoon time slots are available.

Tiny tots are welcome, and free of charge, when accompanying an older sibling or companion. However, please note that the activities are designed for 2-5 year olds so may not be suitable for younger children.

Unfortunately dogs are not welcome at this event.
Meeting point
Please begin your visit at the Ticket Office at Home Farm visitor centre and ask for directions to the soft fruit ground, behind the walled garden.
What to bring and wear
Wear comfortable clothing, with warm layers and waterproof jackets. Wear comfortable shoes. As the event takes place outdoors we recommend that participants wear long sleeves and trousers.
Accessibility
There are blue badge spaces in the car park, ramped access at Home Farm visitor centre and a mobility bus runs across the estate.
Other
TYNTEfest takes place on the soft fruit ground, behind the walled garden. If you require directions, please ask at the Ticket Office at Home Farm visitor centre when you arrive.
