Join us for an active outdoors adventure day at Brimham Rocks!

Working with the National Trust at Brimham, Live For Today have created an exciting day of adventure in the great outdoors. We are ready to help you get outside and get active, discovering hidden secrets, learning new skills and facing stimulating challenges.

This activity day will be split in two halves – book on to either the morning or afternoon session or for those that want a full day of fun you can book onto both!

The morning session will focus on two activities, the first of which will be learning how to weasel around some of the magnificent rocks on offer at Brimham, including the Elevator and the Smarties Tube. Then we will centre our attention on bushcraft, learning how to make shelter using natural materials in the woods.

The afternoon session will be spent climbing some of the most exciting routes Brimham has to offer, learning the basic techniques of belaying and rope management. We will also cover bouldering where no ropes are needed – just learning how to move low level. The day will finish on a highlight with an exhilarating abseil.

All activities will be led and guided by our expert instructors.

Suitable for ages 8 plus including teenagers.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

  Gift Aid Standard
Amount paid by visitor £11.00 £10.00
Tax refund from Government* £2.75 £0.00
Total received by the National Trust £13.75 £10.00
