A Tudor Christmas

As part of their critically acclaimed Tudor Christmas tour, Trinity Boys Choir EIGHT from Croydon, and L'Armonia Sonora viol consort from Holland will perform in the New Chapel.

Having performed at venues such as Glyndebourne and The Royal Albert Hall; and alongside the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Vienna Boys Choir, now it's the turn of Ightham Mote's atmospheric New Chapel.

The programme consists of works by Byrd, Dering, Gibbons, Holbourne and Tallis for choir, soloists and viol consort.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Please note...

House downstairs open, the first floor is closed for winter conservation work.

Family tickets admit up to 2 adults, and up to 3 children. Children are ages 5-17 inclusive, those under 5 are free.

Dogs on short leads are now permitted in the gardens from November - February.

Group rates available for 15 or more visitors.

Unfortunately dogs are not welcome at this event.
What to bring and wear
With no form of heating, the house will be very cold so please dress accordingly.
Accessibility
The performance is upstairs in the Tudor Chapel, with no alternative means of access available.
