Wild at Play is a Forest School for children under 5's. Taking place in our den village up in the Tyntesfield woods, forest school sessions are 100% child led, allowing children to follow their own interests and explore at their own pace. Sorry, this event is now sold out.

A chance for parents to relax, make friends and step back and enjoy time in nature among like-minded people. Run by fully qualified Forest School Leaders and Early Years Practitioners.

Please arrive at the welcome building at 10:00am where you will be met and taken on the shuttle bus closer to then den village. Please be aware that there will still be a 10 minute walk to the forest school site.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

  Gift Aid Standard
Amount paid by visitor £11.00 £10.00
Tax refund from Government* £2.75 £0.00
Total received by the National Trust £13.75 £10.00

*Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

Please note...

Parking is £3.00 in winter months (November to March) and £5 in summer months (April to October) per vehicle, per day using cash or via PayByPhone. For more information please visit: https://paybyphone.co.uk/how-it-works/parking

National Trust members park for free with a valid car sticker, or they can scan their membership cards at the parking machines for a free ticket to display in their car if they don't have their car sticker.
