Delivered as part of our Unintended Consequences programme, explore our native colours in this eco printing workshop. The ancient method looks to science to explain how to create and fix a traditional colour palette used before synthetic dyes were invented. During the day you will create your own silk scarf and gain an understanding of the eco printing process.
This workshop will teach you all you need to know to get started on your own prints at home. Suitable for beginners. Materials provided.
Suitable for visitors over the age of 16.
If you are a not a National Trust member, an admission charge applies for entry to the buildings and the gardens on the estate if you wish to explore before or after the event.
