Bring the kids and enjoy activities connected with nature and the great outdoors. Whether it’s wildlife spotting or revamping Bugingham Palace, there’s something to try every Thursday of the summer holidays 1-3pm.
Here's what coming up this year:
28 July & 4 August - Look at what creepy crawlies live at Charlecote and go insect spotting. Help us empty Bugingham Palace ready for its re-vamp later in the summer.
11 &18 August - Help us re-vamp our bug hotel. Whilst you are here look at what creepy crawlies live at Charlecote and go insect spotting.
25 August & 1 September - Learn all about the beautiful butterflies and pick up our handy butterfly spotter sheet. You might also meet some other fascinating bugs on your visit.
Please stay with your young explorers. All children must be supervised by their adults or guardians.

What is Gift Aid?
Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.
Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission
- Standard Admission
If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.
An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Please head to Visitor Reception in the carpark when you arrive to access the parkland.

- What to bring and wear
- The British summer weather can be variable! Please dress for the weather on the day. Good footwear for walking in the parkland is advised.
- The are grassy and uneven pathways to navigate, and cobbled or historic floors to traverse.
- This activity is free to do, but admission prices do apply.
