A two hour guided walk that explores the historic areas of the Deer Park; how it was used and how it has changed.

Mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, this 2 hour guided walk explores the historic areas of the Deer Park, how it was used and how it changed. Covering the various areas of the Park and what they were used for throughout history, the walk explores Coney Park and Little Park all the way to Outwood and the lost gardens and commons as well as the emergence of the Brownian Deer Park.

Walks are being held on Friday 9 & Saturday 10 September, 10.30am-12.30pm.

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Meeting point
Meet your tour guide in the main visitor car park, by the toilets.
What to bring and wear
Please dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy footwear is recommended.
Accessibility
This walk involves uneven and sloping terrain. It is a two hour walk so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
Other
Dogs on short leads welcome. The walk is free, with donations welcome.
