Ceramics Class with Tash Fry klā: Christmas Dinner Set

Hand-build your own functional ceramic dinnerware, perfect for Christmas gifting!

  • Booking essential

Allow local ceramicist Tash to introduce you into the art of hand-building functional ceramics this Christmas as she teaches you how to sculpt your very own functional tableware.

Learn how to sculpt 2-3 functional dinnerware pieces. Tash will teach you how to make dinner plates, a serving platter, wine tumblers and candlestick holders. Whether you choose to create a set of 4 dinner plates for your Christmas table, or gift each different ceramic piece to loved ones, you will create a beautiful set of handmade pieces just in time for the festive season.

Tash will teach you two techniques in this workshop - hand-pinching & slab rolling. Use these skills to decide your creative focus during the 2 hour session.

Anyone and everyone is welcome! No previous experience of working with clay is required.

Your functional ceramic pieces will be glazed and fired for you after our session. Please allow up to 4 weeks for this process.
