A beginner's workshop that will teach you about the basics of watercolours and help you create a landscape piece to take home.

A beginner's workshop led by our talented volunteer Paul that will teach you about the basics of watercolours from the paints, brushes and papers to techniques for creating the best pictures.

You'll take a short walk around the grounds for inspiration and then Paul will help you to create a small landscape piece, featuring Hughenden's autumn gardens, to take home.

Meet at the Studybase, near the Estate Office.
What to bring and wear
Bring a smartphone/tablet to take a photo. All tools, paints and brushes will be provided. Dress for the weather for the walk. Bring a picnic lunch, alternatively the café will be available.
Accessibility
Not accessible for wheelchairs due to steps down to the Studybase.
Other
Ticket price includes admission, a sweet treat and a hot drink. Paper, paints and brushes supplied. However, if you prefer to use your own please bring them with you.
