Jubilee: Beacon Lighting
Join us for a celebratory beacon lighting ceremony to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on the evening Thursday 2 June.

A weekend of relaxed, self-led events is planned to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at the National Trust Gardens at Stowe, Buckinghamshire.
This year, Queen Elizabeth II becomes the first British Monarch to celebrate 70 years on the throne, having acceded to the throne in 1952, at the age of 25.
Stowe’s programme of events for the extended Public Holiday weekend in June includes a Beacon Lighting ceremony with open air Ceilidh Band and piper, the opening of a new Royal Route within the historic gardens, a Big Royal Picnic and a ‘bring your own’ Street Party.
Beacon lighting starts at 9.30pm with piper.
Licensed bar available.
Outdoor ceilidh.
The main garden will be closed and this event will take place in and around our New Inn. £5 charge per car.
