Father Christmas is once more stopping in at Tyntesfield, before he heads off for a busy season on his sleigh. For those that have been nice, there'll be presents, games with the Father Christmas helpers and a chat with the big man of Christmas himself, in his workshop in the ground floor of the house. If your child has any special education needs that you think we ought to know about, or which might affect your visit to Father Christmas, please get in touch with us and we'll be happy to discuss how we can best facilitate your visit. Booking is essential. Please allow plenty of time to arrive before your time slot, particularly during busy periods. £12 per child. 4 children per session accompanied by max one adult per child. Please arrive at Tyntesfield at least 30 minutes before your session timing as it will take you approximately 30 minutes to check in and make your way to the house. No food or drink in the house please. Normal admission charges for parents who are not members accompanying children to the event.

What is Gift Aid?
Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.
Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission
- Standard Admission
If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.
An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:
|Amount paid by visitor||£11.00||£10.00|
|Tax refund from Government*||£2.75||£0.00|
|Total received by the National Trust||£13.75||£10.00|

The house is closed to visitors on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, open 11am-2.15pm on Thursdays to Mondays.
We are operating pay and display via cash or PayByPhone, in our car park where car park charges will apply for non-members (£3). National Trust members park for free.
