Join us for some skeleton spotting at Ilam Park this October half term. As you venture deeper into the woods, you'll come across our spooky stations that will test your nature detective skills.

Head to the second-hand bookshop in the stableyard at Ilam Park where your Halloween adventures can begin. Collect a trail for £1 from 11am - 14:30pm from Saturday 23rd to Sun 31st October.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Head to the second-hand bookshop in the stableyard at Ilam Park. Park at the Ilam Park car park and walk over to the courtyard. NT members park free.
What to bring and wear
Wear sturdy footwear, walking boots or wellies and wrap up warm - the weather changes very quickly across the Peak District! Please bring the correct change.
Accessibility
The route involves some short slopes and uneven terrain. The route is unsuitable for wheelchair users.
Other
Park at Ilam Park car park, NT members park for free and for non-members it is £3.50 for 4 hours and £5 for all day. The trail costs £1 and cash is preferred please. There are no cash points in Ilam and phone signal is very limited.
