Field of Play Fridays
The whole family can try their hands at cricket or volleyball and lots of other team games. Those under 5 can bring a balance bike and have a go on our balance bike obstacle course. Have fun every Friday 11.30am - 4pm through the school holidays.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
With lots of fun and games available you can spend the whole day in the Field of Play!
How will you get a bit more active? Will you get lost in the straw bale maze or have a huge game of football or try and throw a rugby ball in a straight line? It's up to you.
If you are bringing a balance bike to have a go on our obstacle course please do check our bike policy. (The bike policy states that bike riders are very welcome as long as they are 5 years old or under and that bikes must have stabilizers fitted or be without pedals. This helps keep every one safe on a very busy site.) The balance bike course is available every day of the summer holidays.
Although these are free activities you can help support Attingham by texting ATTINGHAM to 70525 to give £5.
Supported by Sports England.

What is Gift Aid?
Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.
Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission
- Standard Admission
If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.
An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:
|Amount paid by visitor||£11.00||£10.00|
|Tax refund from Government*||£2.75||£0.00|
|Total received by the National Trust||£13.75||£10.00|
